Lisa Wiseman is the legal assistant for the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), a global technical and operations standards development organization.  Ms. Wiseman primarily focuses on regulatory and legislative research, ensuring compliance with the organization’s document-retention policy and providing support to the board of directors. 

Ms. Wiseman received her paralegal certificate in August 2011 from The George Washington University and will receive her Master of Paralegal Studies degree this May after completing her thesis on the impact of counterfeit pharmaceuticals in the U.S. economy.  Ms. Wiseman holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a focus in public relations and marketing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

As a new Director of NCAPA, Ms. Wiseman is looking forward to contributing to the organization by merging her passion for writing and the paralegal profession through NCAPA’s newsletter, OnPoint.
