This event is free and open to everyone but registration is required. Please send an email to info@ncapa.com should you need to cancel your reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Policy/No Show Policy

To cancel a CLE course registration and receive a refund, you must email cle@ncapa.com and treasurer@ncapa.com, and all requests must be received by 5:00 p.m. no less than three (3) business days before the event date. The cancellation/refund will be subject to an administrative processing fee of 10% of the total cost of the registration fee. Registrants who are “no-shows” for a CLE course, or cancel a registration after 5:00 p.m. three (3) business days before a scheduled course, will not qualify for a refund. In lieu of canceling a registration within the permitted time period, a registrant may send a substitute in his or her place.

This 30-minute session led by Dr. Chanel M. Bradden, a certified Adult Mental Health First Aider and scholar-practitioner brings mental health awareness into focus through the lens of psychological safety, helping legal professionals understand how workplace dynamics influence whether people feel safe enough to speak up, seek support, or continue struggling in silence.  This session blends real-world legal experience with practical tools.

Attendees will leave with practical language, actionable insights, and a deeper understanding of how psychological safety directly impacts mental health, well-being and performance in legal environments.

Speaker Bio:

Dr. Chanel M. Bradden is a certified Adult Mental Health First Aider and scholar-practitioner, specializing in psychological safety during workplace conflict with over 20 years of experience in the legal profession. She holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Conflict Resolution, an MBA in Leadership, and a B.S. in Legal Studies. Dr. Bradden is the founder of Ask Dr. B, a workplace strategy platform that empowers high-performing professionals to navigate toxic leadership and workplace conflict. Drawing from her extensive career in corporate governance, legal compliance, and cross-functional leadership, Dr. Bradden helps legal professionals transform workplace challenges into opportunities for growth, trust, and collaboration.
